Our Services
Specialized Therapies for Wellness, Recovery, and Lymphatic Health

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle manual technique consisting of slow rhythmic lengthening strokes on the skin. These movements combined with a specific amount of pressure allow for the lymphatic vessels located 1mm underneath the skin to be manipulated, and lymphatic fluid enters the vessels and is moved throughout the lymphatic system as fast as 10x normal speed. This type of modality directly activates the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress, swelling, bruising, pain, scar tissue, fibrosis and improves the overall function of your immune system.

Pre & Post-Op Recovery Lymphatic Therapy
Our post-op lymphatic drainage massage uses gentle, slow, rhythmic techniques to stimulate the lymphatic system and support healthy lymphatic flow. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) may help reduce post-surgical swelling, fluid retention, discomfort, and the development of fibrotic tissue during the healing process.
We provide gentle lymphatic care for clients recovering from procedures such as:
• Liposuction
• BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)
• Tummy tuck / Abdominoplasty
• Mommy makeover
• Breast augmentation
• Breast lift / Mastopexy
• Breast reduction
• Breast reconstruction
• Arm lift / Brachioplasty
• Thigh lift
• Body lift
• Facelift and other facial procedures
• Neck lift
• Rhinoplasty
• Other cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures
Treatment may begin once your surgeon or physician has cleared you—often around 2–7 days after surgery, depending on your procedure, recovery, and individual medical instructions. Always follow your surgeon’s specific post-operative care recommendations.
Our post-op lymphatic service focuses specifically on gentle Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). We do not perform body contouring, incisional drainage, wood therapy, cavitation, or radio frequency treatments..

Complete Decongestive Therapy for Lymphedema & Lipedema
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is considered the gold-standard conservative treatment approach for managing lymphedema, including Stage 0–3 lymphedema, and can also be used to help manage symptoms associated with lipedema.
CDT is a comprehensive approach that may include Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), compression therapy, therapeutic exercise, and skin care, with the treatment plan customized to each client’s individual needs.
For individuals with lymphedema, CDT can help manage swelling, improve lymphatic fluid movement, support tissue health, and reduce the risk of complications. For those living with lipedema, lymphatic-focused care may help manage symptoms such as swelling, heaviness, tenderness, and discomfort.
Lymphatic therapy may also provide supportive symptom management for individuals with certain chronic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and fibromyalgia. Treatment is individualized and should be coordinated with your healthcare provider when appropriate.

Fibrosis & Scar Tissue Massage
Struggling with thickened tissues after a reconstructive or cosmetic surgery? The primary focus of the session is to reduce fibrosis, a common post-surgical complication where hardened tissue or lumps develop due to fluid retention and inflammation during healing.

Personalized Therapeutic Massage
This all-inclusive service ensures you receive the tools your body needs without worrying about extra costs. Indulge in a selection of complimentary add-ons with your service. Whether you’re managing chronic tension, recovering from injury, or simply looking to improve consistency in your self-care, this massage is crafted to deliver results you can feel and build upon

Red Light Therapy Session
Give your cells a metabolic boost with our medical-grade red and near-infrared light therapy! This advanced therapy penetrates deep into muscles, joints, and skin to help reduce inflammation, speed recovery, relieve pain, and promote healthy collagen production.
This is a private session so that you may expose as much skin as possible for light to penetrate. Session includes two 15 minute intervals on front and back of upper half and /or lower half of body.

Pre & Postpartum Lymphatic Therapy
Specialized lymphatic-focused bodywork designed to support the body through the changes of pregnancy and the postpartum recovery period.
Prenatal sessions focus on gentle, comfortable techniques that support circulation, fluid movement, relaxation, and overall body comfort as your body adapts throughout pregnancy.
Postpartum sessions are tailored to support recovery after childbirth, helping address common concerns such as fluid retention, swelling, heaviness, and muscular tension. Sessions may also be adapted for recovery following C-section or other medically cleared procedures.
Each session is customized to your stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery, comfort level, and individual needs.
Medical clearance may be required depending on your stage of pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum recovery. This service is supportive wellness care and does not replace medical evaluation or treatment.

My experience with Mesmerize was life changing. I am so pleased I chose her and that I chose to have the Manual Lymphatic Drainage. If I could have it every day I would. I am grateful to add this to my everyday routine. Looking forward to continuing my journey with her.

I had a wonderful experience with my first lymphatic massage. It was so relaxing and I fell asleep. Mesmerize is very experienced with lymphedema and she sent me a list of resources to explore. I look forward to my next massage.

Excellent experience !!! Mesmerize is a gifted therapist with excellent knowledge of the body and lymphatic drainage. The environment is calm, clean and comfortable and she very much tailors her work to what you need in the moment.

The lymphatic drainage message i received was one of the best messages I've had. Mesmerize, the massage therapist, was extremely friendly and professional. She gave me an overview of how our lymph system works and thoroughly explained her technique. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting which made it easy for me to quickly relax during the massage. I highly recommend her and will certainly return for more massages.

This place is really cute and has a calming presence inside. Everything is really clean and neat. The lighting is calming so relaxing. Jonas did my manual lymphatic massage and it was awesome. He is very professional and respectful. He explained what he was doing and has a really warm energy. Will definitely come back when I need to!
Booking online was easy and there is plenty of parking.

I booked a massage with Jonas and it was one of the most intentional massages I’ve ever received. He took care to address the specific issues I brought up and really dug in to relieve tension in my neck and shoulders. As someone who lifts weights regularly, I really appreciated Jonas’ understanding of how massage and strength training intersect.

I discovered Mesmerize Holistic Therapies for post-op lymphatic massages, and I’m so glad I did! She is absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. You can truly feel that you're in good hands from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of quality care and healing!
Common Questions and Answers
Some things often asked by new clients
What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first visit, you'll undergo a comprehensive consultation to discuss your health history and specific needs. This allows us to tailor the therapy to you. The session will take place in a soothing environment, ensuring your comfort throughout the experience. To best prepare for your session we recommend that you arrive hydrated and wear comfortable loose fitting clothing and refrain from eating at least and hour before your appointment.
How should I prepare for my session?
To ensure a relaxing and beneficial experience, it's important to prepare for your massage session by arriving hydrated, wearing comfortable clothing, and communicating any specific areas of tension or discomfort to your therapist.
How do I know which service to book?
If you are experiencing swelling, inflammation, heaviness, post-surgical concerns, lymphedema, lipedema, pregnancy related swelling or want to support your immune or lymphatic health, we recommend booking a manual lymphatic drainage therapy session.
If you are looking for relaxation or therapeutic bodywork targeting the muscles, traditional massage therapy may be a better fit.
Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage the same as a Massage?
No. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized, clinical therapy focused on supporting the lymphatic system. It uses gentle and precise skin stretching and breathing techniques rooted in anatomy and physiology. While it is relaxing, it is not designed to address muscle tension like traditional massage.
Who can benefit from Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
MLD is a safe modality for most people and there are very few contraindications. This therapy may be considered if you have sinus congestion, feelings of sluggishness, or chronic autoimmune disorders such as lymphedema, lipoedema, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic venous insufficiency, or post-surgical swelling. This is also great for anyone looking to support detoxification and enhance overall immunity.
Who should avoid Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
If you have any chronic condition such as renal failure, kidney failure, acute infections, congestive heart failure, deep vein thrombosis, or certain types of active cancer like lymphoma MLD may not be appropriate for you and potentially cause harm. It is important that you follow up with your healthcare provider before starting MLD to see if MLD will be a safe and effective therapy for you.
Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage painful?
No, MLD should not be painful! It is a very gentle technique designed to be relaxing while focusing on increasing the flow of the lymphatic system.
Are there any side effects of Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
MLD is generally a safe treatment with few side effects. Some people may experience an increase in urination, or slight fatigue as the body processes the lymphatic fluid more efficiently. Be wary of receiving MLD while having symptoms such as a fever or any other illness as it may speed up lymphatic reabsorption of pathogens putting your immune system under additional stress.
How many sessions of Manual Lymphatic Drainage are needed?
The number of sessions depends on the health condition being treated and the individual's response to the therapy. Some people require a series of treatments over several weeks. Those looking for general wellness and a immune system boost may benefit from a monthly session while other with long-standing edema and post-operative care may benefit from 2 or more sessions in a month.
Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage covered by insurance?
Coverage for MLD varies by insurance plan. We currently do not accept insurance plans at Mesmerize Holistic Therapies. We are only accepting FSA (Flexible Savings Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account.) It is best to check with your insurance company to see if MLD is covered with your plan. If your insurance covers Manual Lymphatic Drainage you may be able to submit your receipt after payment to your insurance company for reimbursement given you have a medical prescription from your treating Doctor to receive Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
